I`ll post some pictures but on general as I`ve a few questions
Here`s from what I can tell,a fully loaded W210

Know with the questions,what doe this do?

Also,does anyone know what phone goes there?

Very nice spec there, my friend has a 2001 51 reg w210 E55, his is only missing the rear blind button and that is it.

Think your friends is only missing a satnav and cool seats.

The damping button is very rare option on these cars, makes the car handles better.

That button you ask about is for the active/adaptive suspension, a rare (and probably expensive) optional upgrade on a W210.

ahh, i'm guessing it doesn't also have pre phone wiring?
still very highly spec'd up.

only missing 2 options then cool seats and pre phone wiring.

What`s a pre phone wiring?Yes,it does have sun roof but did not think that was extra on such expensive cars

I don't think phone pre-wire existed back then. You told them which phone you had and the car came fitted with a cradle to match. If you didn't have one of the two or three supported phones then you were sunk!

I've got that button on my 55 > thought it was standard on these cars > does it actually make any difference ?? I pressed it on once and didn't feel any different !!

Anyone know the AMG blurb on what it's meant to do ?

The blue LED's are the cooled seats, makes the seats cold.

Red ones are heated seats!

Rare option.
