My new c200 cdi- upgrades and mods

Hello guys,

I'v just bought a 2005 C200, drove the car back from Birmingham Friday and found it lacking a bit on power. I'v been thinking of modding the engine a bit- new turbo, inter cooler and then an aggressive remap.

Any thoughts or recommendations for parts or remap would be highly valued, would fit parts myself- is there any other parts I should replace?

Congratulations on your new purchase!! Remember to post some photos - we like photos around here.

It should respond fairly well to a remap being a turbo diesel. If your search this forum you'll see lots of positive feedback regarding Angel maps. Also worth considering would be a Kleemann KD box.

Swapping turbos and intercoolers sounds expensive though. Might not be what you want to hear, but I suspect the sensible thing to do - and probably cheaper - is to sell on quickly before you lose much on it, and go for C220, C270 or C320 CDi.

If modding is your thing though sensible doesn't come into it.
