Hi Folks,
I got into Merc ownership for the first time 5 months ago and now starting to getting to a stage of, "hmm, where should I go for a service?", etc.. So here I am.
I bought an 08-plate W204 C320 CDI Sport back in April, black with a load of factory extras, my first Merc and I love it to bits. The previous 2.5 years were spent driving a Subaru Outback that was initially enjoyable and always practical, but ended up a frustrating thing to drive.
Now the Merc feels like a "proper" car, does better mpg that the 2.5 n/a Scooby but goes a hell of a lot faster and cruises effortlessly as you'll know. The only downsides have been getting used to the lack of ground clearance (kerbs!) and a slight sense of foreboding about what the next Peak District winter will bring.
But I wouldn't go back, I think I'll be having another Merc after this one!
Cheers and I'll be posting some queries elsewhere in the near future..
