Hi all, I've just joined the forum . I have just bought a 2000 clk 230k as a running project. It's an avant-garde in black with black leather interior. Seems to have a good spec, including sunroof, heated seats, retractable mirrors,.
It's got a few problems, body needs a bit of a tidy, and my drivers seat is stuck all the way back, anyone know if you can swap the motors between driver and passenger seat, for some reason the passenger seat is moving with the drivers control aswell, the drivers seat moves in all directions except forwards and backwards.
My instrument cluster centre display is good but the left and right ones are unreadable, problem with pixels.
My sunroof is slow but it works. Apart from that it runs really well. I look forward to speaking to some of guys in the future as I will no doubt need to pick your brains.
