New Owner, 1998 C200 Auto, where's the OBD port?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can tell me where the OBD port is on my 1998 C200 Auto Estate? (is that a W202?)

Top righthand side of the engine bay.

Annoyingly, its not under the steering colum like modern cars.

Thanks, will a cheap converter lead to OBDII from eBay work do you think? I just ordered one for less than a fiver so hopefully it'll work but not too bothered if it doesn't

No it wont work.

look for a carsoft on fleabay,i got mine for 15 quid.

So just an update on the adapter. It works ok

It's obviously not got as much information as a Star would have, but it's given me fault codes and shows me all the following information:

I have cleared the fault codes and they haven't returned yet.

I have a bluetooth OBDII connector which I bought years ago for about the same price and it connects to my phone and I use the Torque Pro app
