I read a post not long ago where someone said that a seat cover from MB was around £175. That set me looking for one for my 300CE-24.
Googling part number A1249102746 brought up €730 list and €530 discount from GAP.
It also brought up a listing from an outfit in France who claimed they had a single, brand new one in stock for - wait for it - €41 delivered to the door. I didn't believe it but I clicked on "Buy" and, after a bit of hassle during which they sent it to the bloke who was hoping for the mirror housing they sent to me, it arrived.
The genuine article. Original MB plastic bag, brand new, unused old stock.
Amazed.
We're now looking for info on how to fit it.
