No injectors till December

No 1 injector on my E 270CDi is goosed. Just been told by Bosch they won't have any ready till December as they've had a run on them. MB want £400 for one. Is there anywhere else I can get one?

HAve you tried Euro Car Parts, GSF, Andrew Page etc etc

Got one from Euro Parts – they had only one left they said. Bosch need a week to refurb one. Incidentally, just watched my man take old one out – five minutes max. Very lucky!

Did he recut a new seat for the new injector, new copper washer etc.?

I used United diesel for mine, reconditionned,different car tho, but they are really good. Keith and Beverly are top class in customer services and prices.

Job getting done tomorrow. My man knows his stuff – did a new seal on another one six months ago. Will let you know.

Job done, new injector (£134 plus VAT) in. Also got a full service. Car back to normal.
