What a car this is the handling for a big saloon is just stunning and feedback through the steering wheel that I wish MB could replicate. As for the engine bay its pretty tight in there!
Pretty much fresh from the dealer but just no fast enough so in for a few upgrades

It's crazy there are so many bolts obscured BMW technicians must be getting training from Pixie Le Knot.

As much as I love some of the big MB saloons this is a notch up for me. The M5 is one of the world's truly iconic cars and you are so right about the handling, it feels like a small car. Will have one one day for sure!

Nice car in a great colour .... what colour is the interior ? The other halves brother has one the same colour as yours with a cream and black interior looks really nice IMO

I chose between the m5 and c63 after moving on from my e92 m3 - c63 won mostly due to the noise, m5 was okay in that perspective but not really special like the c63. Also interesting that our opinions differ about steering feedback comment, at least with the c63 Merc has done a better job on steering feel than the m3, IMO (reviews also back this up). I can't remember how the m5 was as it's been a while since I drove it but IMO Merc steering is one of the better things between the brands, so for me is something I would say Merc do really well.

It is a good car though, absolutely agree.

A friend of mine is getting one of these next week and is looking to go for a wee spin against me in the 65 - should I be worried!

Well, not worried but unless a drag race, where if the power can be got down I reckon the 65 will win, I suspect in any other scenario assuming drivers are equal, the M5 will have the edge. 550BHP standard / 570ish competition with 300kg less than the CL - you will have your work cut out!

I got the eurocharged ECU and TCU so hopefully this should help in a rolling start to our top speeds!
