Parktronic problem W210 E55

Hi
My Parking Sensors seem to have given up the ghost.
The red indicator light is on and from what I can tell none of them are "clicking" when I put my ear to them............
Would this be the box of tricks/control unit thats gone?

Is it safer just to get plugged in first.

Hi,
If it were mine I would get it plugged into STAR first , this should be able to pinpoint. The fault with the system. Not worth doing anything else as it would only be guessing, and could waste some valuable. Hard earned, it will probably be just a sensor gone.

Thanks for that. I will go and get it plugged in.

The reason I was shying away from a single sensor, is that I've had one go before - and the others still made the clicking noise. Now they're all silent, which is why I thought it may be the box that controls them. Although I guess its not an exact science!

I will head to my indie.
