Koolvin, to ask the question must mean you feel that it should be. Can I ask what the rationale behind this is assuming my assumption is correct?

Unfortunately MB's are desirable cars - so if they are stolen they can be "cloned" (or "twinned" as its sometimes called) by using the identity of another car
The easiest way to get this new ID is to look on the web for pictures that show no. plates. Before you know it you can have speeding fines and all sorts of other problems from a car that is to all intents and purposes "yours".
It is the same colour, has the same reg number and is capable of generating you a fine or accident claim if you cant proove you were not there!
One other point - is that people could potentially work out where you live from internet details that you give up - intentionally or not! - now they know where to go to steal one of these cars in the first place <img src="http://www.mbclub.co.uk/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
Sorry to be so gloomy but I've found out the hard way. I'm much older and wiser now - but in my youth I saw how these people worked, and I keep on the "right side" of a few individuals even now - just so my car is safe!
My advice for what its worth is to remove reg nos. from pics - and never give an accurate location for where you live

Just to add to Mark's comments, that's why I'm quite obsessive in removing number plate details from all online pictures of my car and also why I don't announce or talk about my trips abroad before I've actually visited.

As a totally seperate point, I have just finished converting Koolvins video from the pod to Mpeg/videoCd format.
Therefore if we are going to post it for members we are going to have to have the videos in a secure location too! - Either that or a lot of time will have to be spent "masking" no. plates
FYI the video converted to 3103Mb which is over the 2048 limit - this was subsequently reduced to 98Mb and 51Mb of Mpeg files.
Cool that a 2048Mb file canbe reduced to 98Mb though!

Better to edit the video down into sizeable chunks and put it on a secure or password protected server.
