Would some kind soul be able to provide a diagram of all the pulleys/tensioners and bearings on the sl55 amg engine please? Labelled !
I suspect more than one is in need of replacement and want to get a feel for costs.
Is the supercharger clutch a separate replacement unit from the supercharger bearing?
    Many thanks.

    Thank you sir, most grateful.

I've got a worsening whine, bordering on a screech from one of these components.
Are any of these the most likely culprit? Do some of these have a history of wear and tear?
What about the supercharger clutch bearing? Is this tempremental too?
I've had each one priced and they are not cheap. I need to do this replacement in a methodical way!

Take the belts off and spin the pulleys, see if any of them are stiff or make a strange noise. Any that do will need replacing.

Based on my own experience of something similar sounding, my guess would be the tensioner, if there is play in it then it could well be that. Fortunately not an expensive part to replace.

If you contact MSL they may still have some of the full pulley kits in stock. Tensioner can become noisy but more of a shimmering metallic noise if that makes sense. Also change the belt as these are very cheap.

Sorry i just meant if you required Pulley 6, or 5, or the tensioner they are avalibale elsewhere eg MSL or Gates/Febi/Ina rather than Gen mb if you wanted to go that route.
