I made visit there many moons ago with the mother of my eldest daughter now many years later a pediatric surgeon and global health specialist having spent quite a while now in Africa.
She was trained at this teaching hospital UMTB Galveston. Now with Baylor U in Hospital in Houston.
The fees by the way are as big as Texas itself, and if it wasn't for MB repairs in my shop the financial accomplishment wouldn't have been possible if I only fixed/specialized with Toyota.

Hard to pick a favourite, but, "Gentle On My Mind" must be one of his best.

Myself and the other half went Galveston for a few nights back in 2013, flew into Houston, drove down to Galveston for a few nights then back up to Houston.
Would never have considered going there had it not been for the song!

One of the first tunes I learned on the guitar was Rhinestone Cowbow many moons ago.
