R129 Interior lights do not switch off completely

I noticed that something is draining my battery on R129. After closer inspection, i can see that the interior lights (the ones in the door cards and under the dash where the feet are) are not switching off completely when the door is shut.

Door shut sensor looks that it does its job as it cuts the lights off but not completely, as in the dark you can still see fade light.

Any ideas where to start looking or what could be the issue?

Is item 5 in picture below secure, on both doors, it is this that pushes the door pin switch inwards when you shut the door.

yeah,looks secure and tried pushing with a finger, so does the job, light switches off but not completely

A damaged wire, where it enters the door/s at the door hinge is another possibility.

Mine stay on faintly after everything else goes to sleep. However, they switch off fully after about 15 or 20 minutes. Might be worth checking if yours are doing that too.
