R129SL 1997 - mirror glass compatibility

so, some nasty person smashed my driver's side mirror off yesterday.

i've managed to fix the mirror housing, but i now need a replacement glass.

the car is a facelift SL with heated and powered mirrors, but not folding. the heating element is a 2-pin rectangular connector rather than the round connector on earlier cars).

the code on the back of the mirror glass is 202 810 08 21.

looking around the net, there seems to be various versions of this.

i have found this:- JOHNS Mirror Glass, outside mirror ? item: 50 02 38-81. Buy now!

but then also this:- ULO Mirror Glass, outside mirror ? item: 3063004. Buy now!

the cheaper one does not list the SL, but the more expensive one does.

help?

They look like the squarer pre-facelift mirrors. 1997 cars have a bit of a mix of facelift and pre-facelift components.

Is the mirror also self dimming?

they are not rounded.

the 202 810 08 21 number seems to apply to a number of different shapes of mirror though.

i'm not sure whether they are self-dimming or not.

basically, what i am trying to work out is whether there is a difference between the two i listed above?
