Just wondered if anyone had wired a extra power supply for a snooper and/or camera.
I am looking at adding the snopper to the dashboard and possibly locating the camera under (attached to) the rear view mirror. (Put a small hole and threaded bar to mirror case and camera locator).
I am thinking of tapping into the cigar lighter power for both, but this involves a fair bit of trim removal, which I would rather avoid.
I did a similar procedure on on my 2007 Jaguar XKR (I dont like to say it but the trim on the Merc is put together "better") but feel this will take more effort/thought.
Just wondered if anyone on here had taken a power supply from the cigar lighter - and how they did it - or they had an alternate method for auxilliary power supply.
