radio / cd replaced help needed

hi i have just replaced the standard cd player, with sony i have the modified dash bracket fitted all ok ,pluged in but the radio does not seem to turn on , i can put a cd in ok and it ejects ok so there power to it , i know the unit was working ok when i took it out of my last car , do i need to changed the wiring etc , thanks

swap the red and yellow wires on the stereo if that doesnt work then you need to add an ignition feed usually taken from the cig lighter.

hi yes i tryed the change of wires yellow to red , where do i conect the live from the cig lighter feed to thanks
