Radio Codes

Hello everyone,
I have just purchased a B200 cdi se 2006 can anyone tell me if a radio code is required if the battery is disconnected please. If so can the code be obtained on line.

Hi Ian, and welcome to MBClub

My A200 is also 2006, and before I replaced the OE head unit (NTG2 Audio 20), with a view to put it on eBay, I enquired with Mercedes, as to whether the radio code would be required for the new owner to install it.

The answer was NO, it wasn't coded at the factory.

The only 100% way to make sure, is to ask them, however it is pretty likely that, yours would be the same, as both models share head units, as well as many (most) other parts.
