up until yesterday when my car went in for its UK mot test my becker audio 30 would display the names of the radio stations on the dash binnacle but now its only displaying the frequency how do I switch this back as its driving me made as usual the lcd on the becker is kaput/doa so i cant see what the radio itself is doing also need to know where to buy a new lcd if anyone has attempted repair of this??

I called the garage but as expected they deny any knowledge of this even though the car came back tuned to a different station that i don't listen too and was set to manual search:dk:

Do you have a button marked "RDS" ? If so press it, this should bring your display back.

If not then your manual should tell you how to operate the radio.

thanks no manual for it does anyone have a pdf for the becker audio 30 radio/cd/nav

none of the buttons are labeled rds and lcd is out as on all beckers

Try pressing the FM button a number of times and see if this brings it back.

Try Ebay for owners manual.

The FM button is below where it says FM in the display...it's supposed to be quite intuitive.

I take it you've commented without reading the whole thread my display like all becker displays is broken
