Random squares on centre console

Hey guys,

I've noticed that on my centre console I have some random squares showing up, which look like the kind of symbol shown when a fonttype can't display various characters. I've attached some screenshots below.

thats the signal for when your mobile phone is connected

thats the signal for when your mobile phone is connected

As above they display the phone signal strength once a phone is connected.
