Rear headrest tvs

Hi I have a 2006 gl420 with monitors in headrests with DVD player in boot . I can get picture but no sound any ideas would be much appreciated .

Can't answer your question, but hopefully the tv's are in the front headrests and not the rear ones

06 factory system has plug-in headphones and not IR. Check the headphones on an iPod/iPhone/etc ?

Do they not play through stereo or just headphones . Car didn't come with headphones when I brought car

Can't quite work out how to post pictures but DVD player is centurion make and monitors are made by necvox .

You need to visit your local car audio shop to work out what is installed and what is needed.
Its not genuine Mercedes, so could have been installed in a number of ways. If near Lightwater (M3, J3) go see Mercedes Retrofit Specialist - Comand.co.uk

The headphones could be wired, IR, or RF.
