Hi. New user of site. I have 320 w211 CDI 2004. Serious issue with the rear suspension dropping down periodically. Have had new rear ride sensor and new pump fitted. Still the problem persists. There are no air leaks. It's been on star and all shows ok. Two issues: if there are no air leaks ,where does the air go when suspension drops? Secondly, why does the suspension drop right down to the stops before it re-pumps? With a new sensor fitted why doesn't pump activate sooner? Love the car, but losing confidence. Hope someone can Help me with this issue.

Hi. When does this happen? If the car is left for a few days or immediately after you switch off?

Hi cp3377 just a couple of days or when I turn on egnition

It sounds obvious but it sounds like a small leak somewhere - I had one in the rear rod which eventually gave way after 18 months - it used to go lower if left but as soon as the car started it pumped the system up. It sounds odd if you say it happens immediately after start-up though - I've no experience of that. I'd get it checked by a specialist with experience of the system.

Thank you for your time it,s in a garage right now spoke to them yesterday still not found any leaks rear the rear censor has been re calibrated but still won't re pump?
