Recommend a villa in the Canaries / Spain

3 of us for a week in May, no kids so prefer quiet - fed up looking and will throw myself at the mercy of the esteemed members

What do you think chaps

We rent this one for two weeks every year , peaceful , up in the mountains with a lovely unspoiled village ( no 'brits abroad' ) 5 / 10 minutes drive from the house.

OK , you have to fly into Malaga with the great unwashed , but once you have got your hire car , it is about an hours drive east and into the mountains.

A wonderful place to go and de-stress and relax. Thoroughly recommended.

And if it is the Canaries, there are a few nice places still left, sorry can't think of any at the moment, but I have just viewed this. When we were last there a good few years ago, we took the hired jeep & spent hours just star gazing & walking above the cloud on Mount Teide, Spain's highest mountain.
