Remove Bumper Strip Issue

Hi.
RE w203 2002 estate.

I have included 2 pictures of the Rear Bumper Strip.
Would anyone know if this strip pulls off, to work on the rear parking sensors?

i had a coupe a few years back and i gently put a driver in, and prized the strip off.
or, does the estate rear bumper have to come completely off to gain access to the rear parking sensors?
