Replacement aerial E320 coupe 1994

Hi there, my aerial doesnt retract fully and the rubber is perished so I think I should replace it. I have found a universal aerial on Amazon that says it will fit Mercedes of this age here is the link, 12v Car Universal Stainless Steel Electric Automatic Wing Mount Aerial: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on possible options.

You can replace the mast… if it is the mast that is at fault…much easier than the whole unit, via eBay or your local MB dealer.

Hi there, I dont think its the mast as its in tact it goes up all but one section and retracts all but one section but not the same section so think there is a fault inside somewhere
