The boot trim strip running across the width of the car inside the boot from back light to back light has taken some light but numerous scratches.
It's black and I hate scratches is a method of reducing them available ?

If it's a shiney black plastic, you might be able to put some polish on it. If it's a textured grainy type of plastic, I doubt there's anything you could do.

No harm in finding out how much it is for a new piece of trim from Mercedes. It's pretty easy to replace - you may be pleasantly suprised.

Which car. I thought the SL was always a mid grey, and the CL a darker Grey

CL part is about £53 but i'd buy some new clips too or you will get annoyed by any slight marks to the clips as they are removed :)

£46 surprisingly plus vat, spot on Richard. The boot trim is black
The small rubber weather strip (see pic in bodywork forum) was £72 !!!! I'm sure I've ordered the wrong part.
Richard can you supply any modified amps or gizmo to enable better sound, or advise any tips.
