Has anybody got or retrofitted footwell light or lights in the base of the door panels where the little red reflectors are.

Yes there is no wiring so you'll have to make the stuff for the footwell lights (as it would be part of the dashboard wiring loom) and buy new door looms (or make the wiring) for the door puddle lights. Then lots of coding to make it work

It requires removing the fusebox as the footwell lights connect to the front SAM (which is effectively part of the fusebox.

Or get Alfie (Mercedes Retrofit Specialist - Comand.co.uk) to sort it

Cheers

Richard

For my A200 C169, I bought the footwell lights from MB, replaced the standard bulbs with two blue COB festoons, and put my own wiring harness together.
Both under-trays already had the cutouts for the lights - pretty much plug and play mod, for under £15 all in :thumb:

I also added a blue light to the power socket tray, as for some reason it wasn't included with a non-smoker package.

Hi GLK,
Where did you take your 12V connection from for your DIY loom

Many thanks

Fuse tap on front power socket fuse, and added a second one for the lights.

I also fitted Mercedes logo door lights, these were plug and play.
Got a couple of spares (brand new, still boxed) :D
