Rewarding colour

Unsure whether to fire this into here or the bodywork section, nevertheless...

I had my reservations over this colour, but after getting into it a bit and witnessing it properly in the sun i have to say i love it!

Melanite Black...really does pop when the sun hits it well, and as a friend pointed out, very reminiscent of the imperial green of the lotus carlton

All its had there is a wash, clayed and wax just to protect it (i have limited tlime home to spend on it lol). Cant wait to get into it with the polisher and correct the paint and see how well it shines then.

My first Mercedes was a C270 in that colour, loved it, after I'd traded it for a C250 in metallic black it was weeks before my neighbour realised it was a different car.

Yea yours quite possibly convinced me on the colour as it was about the only one I could find good pictures of lol can't wait to get some time home to polish it, and get the wheels recoated

Don't think I've seen that colour before but not does look lovely in the sun.
