Rust on front wheel arch w124 230te (91 plate)

Hi,

I have a little bit of rust on the front wheel arch of my W124 Estate that is getting progressively worse. If the car keeps going I may get a replacement panel next year but in the meantime I'm looking for a quick and cheap fix to tidy it up and make it last a little longer.

I was looking at maybe Hammerite, Rustoleum or possibly POR 15.

Has anyone got any advice?

Imo usually they look worse if they have been messed with, like scratches done with a touch up stick. It just draws your eye to the area.

I would leave alone until new wing time.

+1 if your going to replace them anyway just leave them, a rusty wing will look better then a half job repair

If you are going to keep the car for a long time, get an original wing from Mercedes as patent parts are just going to go down the same route very soon.
