The foot brake release on my S204 has always been very stiff on release and then yesterday when pulling the release handle and also trying to pull the pedal up, the release handle came out! Cable is still intact in the release handle ie doesn't appear broken and the pedal pushes down with 'clicks' but won't stay engaged and is not operating the praking brake.
