was going to trade the car against a nice 2004 avantgarde se would i be better seling private and how much should i sell for its a 1999 w 202 in white and in great condition with low milage and recently refurbished amg wheels

Your best bet is to look through auto trader for similar cars and get a ballpark figure....

Trade value on your car is maybe £600 so there's lots of margin in the 2004 car

Just sold a 1999 C180 Classic with 85,000 on the clock for £1,375....car was in good condition, excellent service history etc, so I think you've done OK seeing as its a PX.

dealer advised i would be better selling private as i would get more than he could offer against the avantgarde sold yesterday for 1300 iam happy with that
