Guys, recently i had some faults with the motor where springs broke, pads needed changing and so on. Being an MB customer and getting services and repairs done by them i went back to them to ask for price on items and labour. It took two MB dealerships to come back with nothing as I had to call up 4 times a day over 3 days and they simply could give me a price. Like WTF, i dont have to buy a brand new merc for you to keep in contact with me. At least tell me you are not going to call back. I took it to a German Specialist and got it done they lost the customers business i got job done.

Now service is due and i am doubting the fact that i should take it back to MB for a service. Shall i drop a quick note to complaints department to see how they can win me back or shall just not bother

Feels nice doesn't it - chasing a company to give them your business...

 :D

Recently had my door window switch fail, which also includes mirror adjust and central locking switch. The parts were over £90 and the dealers rate for fitting was £95 plus VAT. My local indy fitted it for £25 plus VAT. I have and will continue to support my local indy, they use only genuine MB parts and are all MB trained.

As above. don't bother. I know you want to rub their nose in it, we all know
that feeling. But they don't care and you will be stirred up for another 3 days or so.
Take it elsewhere and relax.

I tried and failed to obtain a bottle of MB steering fluid from Merc Manchester (next to Etihad stadium) a few months ago.

A couple of weeks ago I had another try. Eventually I managed to give them some of my money for the fluid, but it was genuinely hard work...

Another case, I spoken to someone from MB via a web chat about a quote for replacement brake parts. They gave me an email address to email. I never heard back from that either. Used ECP instead.
