SL320 Differential oil grade.

I need to replace the differential oil in my SL320 (1997 model)
does anyone know which oil i should use and the grade.

Ive had look in handbook and it doesnt have any details regarding diff oil.

The actual grade of oil in the diff for these cars is not critical.

You have a wide choice. Only thing to watch for is it it has ASD or some form of limited slip diff in which case the fluid would be different! Google Translate

Thankyou for your reply. Ive checked the handbook. It doesnt mention ASD or limited slip. But it has ASR (anti skid control) bearing this in mind will the oil you have recomended still be compatible?

Yes, ASR is just traction control ... no link with the diff type.
