Sl350 2004 reserve tank mileage

Quick question and I cant find an answer on here...

How many miles does your SL350 get out of its reserve tank?

Depends on speed of course,

Take a look in your manual which should tell you the reserve tank size.

Problem is I didn't get a manual I'm afraid - have one on order.

The only problem in your case being the manuals are US versions so gallons are different (not rocket science to convert), however it might actually specify a mileage and miles are the same miles both side!

Your range indicator should give you an Idea once the reserve light comes on. I'm sure ,as most would agree here, consumption depends on your driving style. Manual would probably tell you how many litres/gallons left but not how far you can go once it is on reserve.

My reserve tank always gets as many miles as it takes to the next fuel station...

I've driven far too many cars with crap inaccurate fuel level sensors / on board computer ranges. Not even worth taking the risk, especially with a diesel like i have.
