SL350 R230 rear shock collapsed, non ABC

Just got my SL out of the garage for the summer and one of the rear shocks has collapsed!
totally gone!
has anyone had this before and is there a way of an easy fix?
where to get new shocks from?

Unbelievable ! I've just got back from 2 weeks hols and my 2007 SL350 rear nearside has done exactly the same - less than 2cm clearance from wheel arch. Just driveable, so I guess I'm off to the men that know in the morning. Any ideas appreciated.

Garage says that this usually happens after a period of standing and that the reservoir will need checking/filling and then should be OK for a while - but - once leaked, will probably leak again leading to more serious implications - so fix it early as poss.
