SL55 AMG - Best Tuner value for money?

Hi all,

Who is the best value for money in terms of gains achievable on the SL55?

DMS & KLEEEMAN claim close to 600 BHP and equal torque from the pulley and remap for about £2800

Paramount Performance are yet to send me figures, but offer the same "stage 2" tune for about £1350! which does seem good if the figures stack up?? although currently waiting on thier pulley supplier for stock!

New to Mercs and their tunability.. any views on this and even more important any 1st hand experiences of these tunes and companies?

Very expensive! you could buy a pulley pack seperately and then get the car remapped instead off paying loads all in one go. shop around there are quite a few companies that sell pulleys for these cars.

Member andy_cyp has some experience of tuning the 55K engine, but he's not been around for a while.

Take a look at the US forums for some ideas and prices before committing to a UK supplier, to get a feel for what's possible.

Will a company like DMS remap it?

Not sure where you will get the chance to use the extra power on the road....
