I would guess that something in a MB advert has inspired them.

MB will no doubt respond - in fun. That seems to be the way these things work.

Update: this is actually from SNL last year - so if MB had anything to say then it will have been said!

Reminds me of that series of adverts in LA (I think) where a few manufacturers had a pop at each other with successive adverts.
