Speed pulse on a R107

Good afternoon
I am trying to install an APS 30 on my 1989 300 SL (R107), but I need a speed pulse. Where can I get it?
The car has standard ABS, and I also have cruise control.

Not familiar with the r107 so there may be a more convenient place to tap into a speed signal* but one suspect where you should find one is the back of the speedo

* on the 124 for example instead of pulling out the instrument cluster to get at the back of the speedo there's a wiring connector behind the RHS kick panel where it can tapped. Usually a green/yellow wire but that might only apply to 124s
