A decent pair of fine pigskin TIG welding gloves work just as well and cost a lot less.

Oh he had no problem with his pants ('shreddies' as they were affectionately called then) and he was very comfortable in his string vest. It was the gloves he wouldn't wear - thought he would look a poseur in his Triumph 2000.
