Sunny Bank Holiday? shurly some mistake

Took advantage of the unusual sunny break to nip over to France/Belgium for our annual fag shop on Saturday and have a roam around the East Midlands today.

After going to Adinkerke, we visited Bray-Dunes for lunch and then discovered an interesting French walled village as we headed back to Calais.







And today we headed up to the Salt Box cafe for brekkie and then whilst exploring the area stopped at Blithfield reservoir for an ice cream.






So, 630 miles in the two days and we were lucky enough to have the roof down for all of them

Nice. Worked with the laddo on Saturday changing the cambelt, aux belt and water pump on his car. Yesterday we spent the day at the Spring Show at Ardingly, Sussex - nice to be out in the sunshine.

Spent last night out with the 'scope and binoculars - mainly Jupiter earlier on and then Saturn later. Good not to be freezing my bits off for a change!

Long may it continue (although looking at the forecast...)
