Tailgate badge replacement C202

I thought it would be a simple job to replace the broken tailgate badge on my C240. Does it just lever off or do you have to remove (somehow) the interior cloth trim from the inside of the tailgate. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
Mercedes round Star on the rear I believe sits in plastic inserts fitted in the bodywork, just need to gently pry it off with something preferably made with plastic so as too not scratch the paint.
The letters and numbers making up the C240 should just be stuck on, get a hair dryer on them to soften the adhessive and use dental floss to drag behind the badge to remove it.
