Today I got the chance to tryout our new A45 AMG for an hour. I had a blast driving this little racer. But stupidly I took it after an half hour of joyriding the owner's SLS Roadster. So I have to admit being a bit disappointed on the performance. But I did appreciate anyway as a cheaper way to get into the world of AMG. It's a quick, nibble little car that loves slalom driving in the city and surely will put both Audi and BMW's challengers in it's rear view mirror. The sound is as good as it can be with a 4-cylinder turbo engine. However I do miss the growling and spitting on the downshifts. But the upshifts on the other hand are accompanied by a big bang if you drive it a bit sporty. I did managed to startle more thena few fellow drivers with those bangs and I have to say I loved it 
If you get the chance to drive it, take it. I'm sure you'll appreciate it's fun qualities.
