Because in not as clued up on cars as most on here I'd still have the C63 over all the others. I love everything about them.

I (foolishly) subscribed to the Times to read this review after a friend mentioned it to me. It's entertaining as usual from Clarkson, but misses a few major points if you're in the market for such a motor:

1. There is only 1 V8 car in this class right now, if you exclude idiotic Australian stuff.

2. It's bigger inside than the Jag, which is behind the curve on space

3. The M3 has phoney sound, and in any case sounds like a hedge trimmer

4. By comparison with the W204, the new car actually rides better.

But then, I might be biased

I wonder what he'll make of the c43 when he eventually does a review seeing as it's the obvious comparison to the v6 XE.
