Third Brake Lamp E320 CDi 2007

Just being fussy. But on M.O.T. today I noticed that a few of the L.E.D. elements have gone in the third brake light strip.

Anyone any ideas if these can be repaired?

Extortionate OE price. Don't want to get one from China, and can't really rely on 2nd hand.

I need to do the same on mine...

From what I have researched is that they can be repaired but it's fiddly to replace the tiny surface mount LED's and failure is usually due to corrosion.

I will replace mine with a new OEM one at some point and apply plastidip to keep the corrosion at bay.

I just bought two new led strips off ebay Just over £5 delivered 15 x led's

I am going for a fix on it when weather improves.
