Hello everyone, I have a question about a slight transmission kick when I'm coming to a stop and when I'm accelerating from 1st to 2nd.

A little history about my transmission:

Fluid was not changed at all until 130,000 miles
At 130,000 miles, partial flush was done with Fuchs 4134 (the good stuff)
At 178,000 miles, another partial flush was done with Fuchs 4134 (today)
Both front and rear flex disc have been replaced.

Shifting is a smoother on the freeway, car vibrates a little bit less and the shift knob doesn't vibrate a single bit at all now.

At low speeds though, there is still a kick when i'm slowing down and accelerating especially when it's very cold. Gear shifting is not as smooth even with the new items in.

Does anyone here know what it could be? Could it just be a transmission that is slowly on its way out? or something natural just due to the age of the car?

Thanks in advance! I'm the from the USA and the forums aren't of too much help over.

It is probably some wear in the transmission generally or a valve body issue. It needs to be stripped to see what the cause is.
