I may be wrong but 1994 strikes me as around the date before which Mercedes UK dealers are no longer no longer stock parts on site. These can still be ordered from Germany via the dealer but are no longer stocked in the UK and may require prepayment or are non returnable.

Sorry to hijack the OPs thread but ECP still doesn't (and GSF only started recently) list my model , 200E, in the search facility. It gives me the option 190E, 260E or 300E !??
