Got some paint bubbling on the top of the corner of the rear bumper trim. Am I correct in assuming that this is just paint blistering and not rust as the bumpers are synthetic or am I missing something?

Can anyone give me any idea how quickly this could be fettled by a decent and sympathetic body shop as I have someone coming to see the car on Sunday... Bubbling is right on the top edge and around 5 inches long and about a quarter of an inch down.

It's Jasper Blue by the way.

Cheers for any QUICK advice!

A photo would be good.

Is it on the actual panel at all? I had a rust bubble on the join area on the panel, literally right above the bumper, and it was rust....bad rust all over the inside!

It's only on the inset trim - not on the bumper itself - I thought they were plastic/resin?

Update

Repainted by Hind Bendall in Carlisle this morning and ready by five tonight.

Fantastic service and very reasonable.
