Not really ON eBay, but more FOR eBay...

http://www.toolhaus.org/

They have some quite usefull stuff, I won't even explain most of it. But their "view all negative and neutral feedback" tool is VERY usefull when all you want to do is see a sellers bad points...

Have used the Ebay negs tool for a while now, if your Browser is Firefox, it's fully integrated.. Saves scrolling to find the neg/neutral feedback..

This should be in Favourites section, nice find :)

This feature is already available within ebay anyway!

Really, where? Not being funny here, but as far as I know, there is no option within ebay to search for only someone's negative feedback.

Yep.

Click on someones ID, then look at their feedback.
On the right of your screen you can select a time period. Select last 12 months.

then a selection appears on the right for negative, neutral etc.

I've used it a lot lately!

I stand corrected sir. I would never have looked there because I'd never want to look at a specific time period.

my favourite ebay tool is auction tamer - brilliant

http://www.auctiontamer.com

I've looked at that before, but it is subscription based. Yuk! And to make things worse . . it's IE based.

If all you need is a snipe tool (with a few extras) look ast this;

http://www.auction-sentry.com/

Been using it for a long time now . . .

i owe the company nothing but . . .

have you actually 'used' auction tamer? if so what for?

I have only ever paid for a couple of items of software and this is one of them, and I used this for about 18 months withour paying a thing. If $26 for a year is too much for the buyer/seller and excellent auction tracking features then no problem . . .

IE based makes it worse does it? It doesnt but then so what, if you stay within the tab browsing it makes no difference whatsoever that its IE based. Incidentally, I use firefox outside of auctiontamer because I HATE IE

there is a superb snipe system within auction tamer too - works perfectly ;)

Yes, I have tried it.

I have no trouble paying for software. What I dislike is paying a subscription to use software.

Yes it is worse because you open yourself up to all the security risks that come with using IE.

Personally I use snipemonkey myself. http://www.snipemonkey.com ;)

According to the website snipemonkey is not that reliable as it doesn't always work. The website comes up with the following message:

Important! I'm currently unable to guarantee that SnipeMonkey is working and i'm unsure when i can get it back up again. I find it hard to leave it broken right now, but because of my busy schedule i'm unable to work on the program at this moment.

never mind fighting over stuff with everyone else...

pick up the mis spelled or badly worded listings that very few people find

Andy

I've found the best search method is to save every possible spelling and then search using the http://www.bayprospector.com/ search tools.
As I mentioned in the snipe thread an item with few bidders possibly due to a poor listing is ideal material for a 2 second snipe.
