virgin broadband

hi ,
I have had broadband from virgin for years with no problems.
I have had there superhub fitted which is indeed around 50 meg but it continually reboots itself and sometimes doesnt come back on.
Virgin are adament that all is ok
any idea anyone?

The hubs are due a firmware update pretty soon - virgin are aware of a few issues with them - if you can get hold of one of the older 50mb modems you can use that with no issues (mine was solid as a brick, and they say that they could even handle the 100mb if really needed to).

I'm not a fan of hubs myself, but at least I have the old equipment spare!

Sounds more like a signal issue if it is rebooting and the error log shows it is. Post up your connection stats and the hub error log on the community forum. The stickys on the forum tell you how to access the info.

ok i will do that.
I am on my third hub in six weeks and although the tech guys in India are really helpful, they know it is the hardware that is causing the problem.
