This enterprising and talented chap makes replacement bush kits to fix sloppy gear changes on w638's. Not many owners on here but you never know.

EDIT: Only a full kit can be bought from MB for a lot more money (about £220) and this is all that is needed to solve the crunching when changing in the lower gears.
