Hi been some time, like some advice or pics on rear Diff on W124 coupe.
I believe mine has a slight leak, would appreciat:thumb:e the help.

Where is it leaking from? The input seal can ovalise over time due to torque reaction. The diff mounting bushes go soft over time and help this process. Replacing the input seal - if it's leaking - may help

Most people just ignore it and check the diff oil level regularly

If it's coming out the breather then nothing. It's supposed to if it has a little too much oil in it. Clean it off and check it.

Hello again, driving home the other night about 60MPH i found their was a rolling noise funny as it sounds, im thinking anything to do with the prop shaft. Any thoughts.

I'd expect a propshaft to give off vibrations rather than noise. How are your wheel bearings?

wheel bearings are good..

just got back from Scotland will try and check oil in the diff this week as weather seems preety good.
